District 518 is seeking On-call Interpreters for Tigrinya, Anuak, Mam, Burmese, Karen and other locally spoken languages. Applicants must be fluent in English and at least one other language. On-call Interpreters will not have regularly scheduled hours, they will be scheduled, as needed, to come in to interpret for parent-teacher conferences and at other times when an interpreter is needed to facilitate effective communication with students and their families. Applicants will be expected to attend an an on-call interpreter orientation prior to working in the district.
