Assistant Volleyball Coach
Location: Worthington, Minnesota Position Type: Seasonal (Fall Sports Season)
Position Overview
The JV/B-Squad Volleyball Coach is responsible for leading a developmental high school team, with an emphasis on skill-building, teamwork, and preparing student-athletes for advancement to higher levels of competition. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive and growth-focused team culture.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct daily practices focused on fundamental skill development

Coach games and implement basic team strategies

Teach and reinforce sportsmanship, teamwork, and accountability

Communicate effectively with players, parents, and athletic department staff

Monitor player progress, development, and academic eligibility
Qualifications

Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and basic strategies

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Coaching and/or playing experience preferred, but not require
