Assistant Volleyball Coach 

Location: Worthington, Minnesota
Position Type: Seasonal (Fall Sports Season)

Position Overview

The JV/B-Squad Volleyball Coach is responsible for leading a developmental high school team, with an emphasis on skill-building, teamwork, and preparing student-athletes for advancement to higher levels of competition. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive and growth-focused team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily practices focused on fundamental skill development

• Coach games and implement basic team strategies

• Teach and reinforce sportsmanship, teamwork, and accountability

• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and athletic department staff

• Monitor player progress, development, and academic eligibility

Qualifications

• Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and basic strategies

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Coaching and/or playing experience preferred, but not require
